A proud moment for the Class of 2025! Graduates celebrated their achievements and accomplishments during the Graduation Ceremony on Friday, May 23, 2025, at the Vine Center on the Liberty University campus, ready to embrace their next chapter.
Amherst County High School has been voted one of the area’s best public schools, earning the bronze award from Lynchburg Living Magazine! This honor reflects the amazing environment created by our students and staff.
We are proud to celebrate the achievements of ACHS students at the 53rd Annual Central Virginia Regional Science Fair! Margot Marcais earned the Grand Alternate Award and ISEF Finalist title in Physical Sciences for her project “From Plastic to Polyfill – Comparing Experimental Stuffing Quality to Common Stuffing Materials.”
Congratulations to the Amherechos and Lancer Show Crew for taking 1st place in the Small Mixed Division at the Titan Tournament of Choirs! Special shoutout to Kynslee Wilson and Cole McConnell for earning Best Showmanship honors!
ACHS students are honing their welding skills, building a strong foundation for future success!
These Lancers visited Central Elementary to celebrate Read Across America with 2nd graders! From reading stories to fun activities, they made literacy come alive!
ACHS Culinary students sharpened their skills while prepping delicious food for the Community Tailgate event!
