Abby Wallen is a member of the Virginia College Advising Corps, an Americorps program partnering with the University of Virginia dedicated to increasing post-secondary education opportunities for students across the Commonwealth. Abby has a Bachelor’s degree in public policy and administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. She is passionate about building relationships with students and walking side by side with them as they discover their next steps and make decisions about their future.
Abby grew up in Bowie, Maryland before relocating to Charlottesville, Virginia, where she now lives with her two roommates and many plants. In her free time, Abby enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with friends and family.
