2021-2022 ACHS Course Scheduling

Dear Students/Families:

As we make our way through this challenging year, we begin to look ahead to the promise of the 2021-2022 school year. This week we are starting the initial stages of the course scheduling process for next school year. Initial is the keyword because we know that plans will change and evolve throughout this current school year.

In this Google site, you will find multiple resources to facilitate discussion with your student about initial course selections for next school year. When students make initial selections, those selections can continue to be modified as students learn more about different scheduling options. To select courses for next year, all students are asked to complete a Google form which can be found on the scheduling website. This form can only be accessed by the student’s email address and must be completed by Friday, March 26 at 11:59 pm so we can begin to compile important staffing information for next year.


We encourage parents and students to work together to make these important selections. Please contact your student’s school counselor at

Please complete the School Counseling Services Request form below if you need to speak to a counselor.   We will do our best to see you within a reasonable amount of time. Please only submit one request per day.  Submit form and wait for a counselor to follow-up with you. Summer School At Amherst County High School

Do you like hands-on learning?   If you are interested in mysteries, building projects, and sports, then Amherst County High School has the summer program for you. Rising 9th-12th grade students are invited to come to ACHS for this fun and exciting program.  We will be exploring the following themes in our summer program:

Attention Seniors!!! Cap and gown pick up!!!

Jostens will be here on Wednesday, May 5 and Thursday, May 6 during lunch and then again on May 5 from 4-6pm outside of the gym for the delivery of caps and gowns.

Vaccine Clinic for Students

“ACPS is offering an optional Pfizer vaccine clinic for students ages 16+ this Friday, April 30th from 1:00-3:00 at ACHS. No appointment is necessary; however, doses will be administered on a first come, first served basis until they run out. Parents of students under 18 should attend with their child and provide written parental consent. The 2nd dose will be administered on 5/21/21 from 1:00-3:00. Please let us know if you have any questions.”

Spring Sports Spectator Guidelines

Hello Lancer Family, 

On Friday, April 23, 2021, a committee comprised of the Seminole District principals and athletic directors met to discuss Governor’s Order 72 regarding updated guidance on spectators for recreational sports. 

As we have progressed through this pandemic our committee has aligned with all Governor’s Orders and their updates. The committee has again adhered to this practice while establishing guidelines for Spring Sports for the Seminole District. 

Student Vaccination Information

Hello Lancer Family! 

We are thrilled to announce that we will be able to begin vaccinations for any ACHS student age 16 or older who would like to be vaccinated. (Students must be 16 years or older on April 30)
